Available Classes

There are 6 classes to choose from. All classes are taught from a Christian perspective using scripture and devotionals, prayer, meditation on scripture, and Christian music in the classes. All classes will help you to draw closer to God, relax, breathe better, improve fitness, health and well-being. The classes occur on an 8-week series basis which repeat several times per year as well as a shorter 4-week series in July. The series are very reasonably priced to encourage all people who might want to try Christian style yoga to join in.

Gentle Journey Level 1
A gentle and nourishing one-hour class for beginners and anyone looking for relaxation, stretching, improved breathing, and flexibility. This class is appropriate for most people recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic health conditions. Participants should be able to get up and down from the mat without pain. We use yoga props such as yoga blocks, straps, cushions, and blankets and transition slowly from the following positions: lying down, sitting, on all fours and standing. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $72 for the 8-class series.
Gentle Journey level 2
A gentle and nourishing one-hour class for active beginners and more experienced students. Participants should be able to get up and down from the mat without pain. This class includes relaxation, stretching, and breath work with a focus on improving flexibility, balance and strength. We gently build heat in the body, include regulated breath with movement and hold poses for longer periods than level 1.We use yoga props such as yoga blocks, straps, cushions and blankets and transition from the following positions: lying down, seated, on all fours and standing.  The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $72 for the 8-class series.
Faithful Flow
For active, fit beginners or more experienced yoga students. This yoga flow class incorporates flowing and breath-synchronized movement through the poses to build strength, balance, flexibility and endurance. We will hold some poses for longer periods, flow in others at a faster pace, creating heat in the body as we progress and learn more challenging poses such as downward facing dog, warrior 3, half-moon pose, and shoulder stand. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $72 for the 8-class series.
Chair Yoga
A gentle and nourishing 45-minute class for students who would like to experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor. This class is appropriate for most people recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic health conditions. We will practice seated yoga poses, flowing movement with the breath, relaxation techniques and standing work with the support of the chair. Benefits can include improved balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $56 for the 8-class series.
