Available Classes

All classes are taught from a Christian perspective, integrating scripture and devotional readings, prayer, meditation on scripture, and Christian music in the classes. All classes will help you to draw closer to God, relax, breathe better, improve fitness, health and well-being. The classes occur on an 8-week series basis which repeat several times per year. We also gather for outdoor classes in the summer enjoying God’s beautiful creation! The series are very reasonably priced to encourage all people who might want to try Christian style yoga to join in.

* Zoom Option for Chair Yoga Classes: This is a great option for chair yoga students who may be experiencing mobility issues or transportation challenges. Join our in-person classes live via Zoom and practice from the convenience of home. You will also receive by email weekly a video recording of the practice so no worries if you miss the live class(es). You will have the videos for your use for the duration of the 8 week series and until the start of the next 8 week series.

Gentle Yoga
A gentle and nourishing 50 min. class for beginners or more experienced students. Participants should be able to get up and down from the mat without pain. This class includes relaxation, stretching, and breath work. We also focus on work to improve flexibility, balance and strength. Modifications are given for poses and suggestions for those who want more challenge in a pose. We use yoga props such as yoga blocks, straps, cushions and blankets and transition from the following positions: lying down, seated, on all fours and standing. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Gentle Yoga is appropriate for most people recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic health conditions. Cost is $80 for the 8-class series.
Gentle Flow Yoga
For active, fit beginners or more experienced yoga students. This 50 min. yoga flow class incorporates flowing and breath-synchronized movement through the poses to build strength, balance, flexibility and endurance. We will hold some poses for longer periods, flow in others at a faster pace, creating heat in the body as we progress and learn more challenging poses such as downward facing dog, warrior 3, half-moon pose, and shoulder stand. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $80 for the 8-class series.
Chair Yoga
A gentle and nourishing 40 minute class for students who would like to experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor. This class is appropriate for most people recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic health conditions. We will practice seated yoga poses, flowing movement with the breath, relaxation techniques and standing work with the support of the chair. Benefits can include improved balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction. The class starts and ends with an inspirational relaxation time. Cost is $64 for the 8-class series.
